He holds a Masters degree in Piano Performance from the UMKC Conservatory and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Hastings College.
He has cultivated a musical voice that gracefully merges classical elements, cinematic qualities and minimalist characteristics. His main vehicle is the piano merged w/ electronics/percussion and Daniel’s compositions resonate w/ both seasoned musicians and casual listeners, creating a profound impact on a diverse audience.
In addition to his solo projects, he has established a niche full-time career writing music for dance. He has worked w/ notable companies such as Jacob Jonas, Whim Whim, Salt Dance, and most recently the Kansas City Ballet Company to name a few.
