While each of the world’s top-tier orchestras has a unique sound, perhaps none is more strongly identifiable than the fabled refinement, blend, balance, warmth, and unified aesthetic of the Vienna Philharmonic, from which the Phileo Quartet has been drawn.
In their first ever tour of New Zealand, and under the leadership of Otautahi Christchurch-born violinist Benjamin Morrison, the Phileo Quartet will present a programme that speaks directly to the unique sound, style, and traditions of the Vienna Philharmonic.
