About this Event
Philadelphia Energy Authority will release economic results of the 10-year Philadelphia Energy Campaign, developed in partnership with Philadelphia City Council. These results will highlight how this decade-long initiative created more than 11,000 jobs, drove $1.5 billion in energy savings for the City of Philadelphia and its residents, and resulted in a $1.3 billion investment into Greater Philadelphia’s clean energy economy - exceeding the initial investment goal by 30%.
Additionally, PEA, alongside the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Sustainability, will announce a new round of clean energy investments to retrofit the city’s four large downtown buildings, known as the Quadplex, as well as neighborhood health centers, and community facilities.
