Phil & Lily Rosenthal celebrate JUST TRY IT! SOMEPLACE NEW!: B&N The Grove

Join on March 14, 2026, at 1:00 pm as we welcome New York Times bestselling authors and his daughter to take photos to celebrate the release of their latest picture book: In this companion to Just Try It!, an encouraging dad eases his daughter’s worries about staying at Grandma’s for the first time. Lil is getting ready to stay with Grandma on her own for the first time. How exciting! Except…what if she only eats broccoli? What if her bed is made of rocks? What if the mailman is a giant elephant? All these questions make Lil scared, but Phil has the perfect piece of advice for soothing her fears: Just try it. Sometimes we’re scared of what we don’t know, and that’s okay. With a little help, Lil is ready to try.

To make this event safe and enjoyable for all attendees, please read the below guidelines ahead of buying a ticket, so you know what to expect on the day. To avoid disappointment, we must stress that there will be no access to the event for non-ticketholders.

GUIDELINES

• This is a photo-op and meet & greet only.
• Books will be pre-signed. No memorabilia will be signed.
• A BN bookseller will take photos on the ticket holder's phone or camera.
• No large bags will be permitted into the event. Please leave your bags in your vehicle.
• Barnes & Noble may cancel this event at any time with or without notice to the ticket holders.

Ticket holders will be admitted into the event beginning at 12:00 PM on the day of the event. Stop by the first floor customer service desk to determine where you will check in. Please have a copy of your ticket available (either printed out or on your phone) for check-in.

ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES

• Some outside queuing may be required, so please come dressed appropriately for all weather.
• The exact time at which the event ends will be determined on the day.
• To avoid disappointment, we strongly advise you to arrive on time for the event. Late arrivals may not have the opportunity to enter the event space.
• Due to health and safety and space limitations, those without a ticket will not be permitted to join the queue.
• All event guidelines are subject to change.

Please note that Eventbrite is the only authorized dealer for this event. Tickets are non-transferable. Do not purchase tickets from a third party. Every person must have a ticket to enter.

REFUNDS

Attendees can receive refunds up to 1 day before the event.

If you are unable to attend the event, Barnes & Noble - The Grove will hold your book for seven days after the event. Please contact the store to arrange your pickup.
