Join us to learn about Budburst, a community science project where researchers, educators, and community scientists work together to answer critical ecological research questions by studying phenology, the timing of seasonal change in plants. During this workshop, we’ll enjoy a beverage while we tour the Garden and learn to identify phenological changes. Then we’ll discover some fun classroom activities and discuss other ways to incorporate the Budburst project in the classroom.
Workshop is open to educators of all kinds – formally employed in the field or not – and is included in general admission to the Garden, which is $12.50/adult on Wednesdays.
