PhD Research Showcase and Career Day (Barcelona, 21-22 July 2026)
RMIT Europe is pleased to host the two-day PhD Research Showcase and Career Day in Barcelona.
Current, recent and former doctoral candidates as well as members of the public are welcome to join us for one or both days for a packed agenda of presentations, lightning talks, Q&As, roundtables with experts, practical sessions and workshops.
Day one (21 July) - PhD Research Showcase
PhD candidates from the REDI (RMIT European Doctoral Innovators) Program will present results, achievements and breakthroughs from their research.
Day two (22 July) - PhD Career Day
Hear about career opportunities after a PhD! This day is a collaboration between RMIT Europe, the Bridging Science and Business Working Group of the MCAA, the MCAA Spain-Portugal Chapter and ACCIÓ (L’Agència per a la Competitivitat de L'Empresa).
Join the PhD Research Showcase (21 July) and Career Day (22 July) to:
- Discover the latest research and achievements of the REDI PhD candidates.
- Learn about funding opportunities available as an early career researcher.
- Hear real-life experiences of former PhD candidates and ask them your questions.
- Learn about different careers available after finishing a PhD from people working in diverse areas from industry and academia, including entrepreneurs and researchers who have set up their own labs.
- Network, brainstorm new research ideas and collaborations, and plan your future career.
