📢Calling PhD students eager to empower their doctoral journey with innovation in the sustainable materials industry!The PhD BalticTeach Winter School is a three-day programme in Kaunas, designed to empower PhD students and researchers with the tools and knowledge to transform research-based ideas into viable business concepts. Through interactive workshops, expert-led lectures, and collaborative activities, participants will delve into key aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship, including customer discovery and business model design, idea framing, market opportunity mapping, and roadmap development.
This programme offers a practical platform to refine your ideas, understand customer needs, and create sustainable business models, fostering the entrepreneurial mindset essential for bringing research to market.
The on-site school is one of the three components of the complete learning module. Before the PhD Winter School, participants must embark on an individual online learning course covering systems-thinking, sustainable materials, circularity, and challenge-based content. Following the in-person school, a one-month incubation will feature inspiring online lectures and one-on-one mentoring sessions, providing school participants with assistance in preparing a practical plan for the development of their business idea. The total duration of the full training module is 150 academic hours.
