1st Intra-Department Debate Competition
The Department of Pharmacy is delighted to announce Pharma Veritas 2026, the first-ever Intra-Department Debate Competition of the Department of Pharmacy, bringing together passionate student debaters to create a platform for critical thinking, intellectual exchange, logical reasoning, and meaningful discourse.
Theme: Pharmacy, Healthcare, Medicine, Ethics, Technology & Society
Pharmacy is not limited to medicines and laboratories; it is deeply connected with healthcare, ethics, society, technology, and human well-being. Pharma Veritas 2026 aims to explore these diverse dimensions through engaging and thought-provoking debates.
The competition will provide students with an opportunity to discuss contemporary issues related to medicines, healthcare, pharmaceutical industries, patient rights, medical ethics, drug policy, technology, public health, and the evolving role of pharmacists. Through structured argument and constructive disagreement, the competition seeks to encourage students to question, analyze, and defend ideas with evidence and reasoning.
Competition Format
Format: Asian Parliamentary (AP)
Team Cap: 12 Teams
Participants: Students of the Department of Pharmacy
Participation & Registration
Students interested in participating in Pharma Veritas-2026 are encouraged to register through the designated registration process.
Participants will compete as representatives of the Department of Pharmacy, with team formation and participation coordinated by the organizing committee.
