Baltimore-based performers Bloody Mayhem Theatrical return to the AFI Silver to present a spectacular shadowcast for Brian DePalma's 1974 cult classic rock opera PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Disfigured composer Winslow Leach (William Finley) seeks revenge on Swan (Paul Williams), the heartless producer who stole his music, which Leach wrote for Phoenix (Jessica Harper), the woman he loves from afar. Williams' wicked rock music powers this outré musical, which combines elements of "The Phantom of the Opera," "The Picture of Dorian Gray" and "Faust."
