The annual Phantasmagoria Los Angeles, the premiere carnival of dark music and witchy performance, returns with a headlining act by LA's legendary queen of gothic death rock Eva O of Christian Death/Shadow Project notoriety, plus acclaimed musical acts exploring the darkest depths of void.

EVA O ~ One of the originators of American gothic death rock, Eva first gained acclaim in the LA punk scene with her band Super Heroines. She was asked to sing alongside Rozz Williams on the seminal debut LA death rock album Christian Death Only Theatre of Pain in 1982, which has deeply influenced generations of goths and darkly inclined musicians. She then teamed up with Rozz Williams once again in the late '80s and early '90s, this time playing guitar and adding her uniquely haunting vocals to several Christian Death albums plus the duo's newly formed powerhouse band Shadow Project which blended death rock with metal-edged guitars. Since then, she has released numerous albums under her own name and done a few rare reunions.

THE SIXTH CHAMBER ~ Through over 20 years of sonic magick and mystery, LA's undead gothic doom rock sojourners The Sixth Chamber have marched ever forth to seize the nocturne in feverish throes of triumphant defiance. The Sixth Chamber is a library in hell where the world's darkest secrets are kept in volumes neatly arranged on shelves, according to the cryptic transmissions of 18th century mystic William Blake. The Los Angeles-based mysterians have amassed a long and storied recording legacy comprised of gothic, doom, metal, experimental, blues, psychedelic, fantasy/horror and poetic inspirations evident in their rock 'n' roll explorations of the mythic, mystic and phantasmic.

LUNA 13 ~ Fresh off a national touring schedule with Christian Death and Hocico, Luna 13 delivers a mind-numbing blood-soaked sonic cocktail of blackened bass metal flooded with occult themes of diabolical witchcraft, void and perversities that will leave you bleeding from your ears and loving every minute of it!

EDGAR ALLAN POE STORYBOOK COCKTAIL HOUR ~ A gloomy social hour for kindred Phantasmagoria goers to commiserate. Your host LA gothic model Mary Misery sets the atmosphere for the evening with a dark and thought-provoking reading of your favorite Edgar Allan Poe tales and tomes.
