Witness a powerful performance of the Phad tradition by Sitaram Bablu and Sohini ji - a rare mother-son trio of Bhopas Together they bring the Phad to life through song storytelling and the haunting strings of the Ravanhatta. Their performance is intimate immersive and deeply rooted in oral tradition offering to the audience a moving first-hand experience of Rajasthan’s living heritage.Join Mimansha Charan and Ayla Joncheere of Thorr Collective where they bring their research into the Phad tradition into dialogue with a live performance offering context insight and reflection alongside the Bhopa’s rendition of the Phad storytelling.
