Philadelphia Folksong Society's Musical Artists Cooperative (PFS/M.A.C.) presents two dynamic bands Thursday, January 15th (7:30 pm) at the intimate Fallser Club, 3721 Midvale Ave., Phila. PA. The evening will feature Railroad Wings, sharing songs with clever yet heartfelt lyrics and CubiZm performing compelling original Folk-Rock. Doors open at 7 pm. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for PFS members and advance purchases, and $10 for PFS/MAC members. The beautiful Liz Miller Emcees for the evening.Ticket Link:

About the Artists:
Railroad Wings is Julieann Ott and Rob Lincoln. Julieann writes rootsy pop “song-stories” that evoke introspective Americana superstars a la Patty Griffin. With vivid imagery and unexpected melodic turns, Ott hooks her listeners and takes them on an emotional ride. Seasoned performer and prolific songwriter Rob Lincoln adds his own special brand of magic to the duo’s sound. The multi instrumentalist brings a light hearted energy to their performances. CubiZm is Heidi Wolfson, Art Cohen (guitar), Steve Lessick (drums/harmony), and Neal Phillips (acoustic guitar, bass). CubiZm’s compelling original folk/rock music spans a wide range from shimmering atmospheres to driving grooves to melodic harmonies to abstract spoken word pieces. Heidi Wolfson's thought-provoking and literate songs are delivered with a singular intensity. Acoustic and electric guitars, drums, and vocal harmonies blend together to showcase the freshness and originality of the writing.
