PFP Fundraiser: Bingo For Palestine
About this Event
Portland For Palestine (PFP) is a fundraising series and a boycott effort. For us it is also a call to action.
We believe artists have the responsibility to curate artistic spaces that aren't merely a distraction, rather, are responsive to our local and global community in alignment with our collective liberation. We divest from the zionist networks that are prevalent in the comedy and art scene in Portland, and resist by creating our own spaces.

Accessibility:
This venue is ADA accessible. There is one disability parking spot in front of the building. The venue does not have it's own parking lot, and all parking is street parking.
This is a mask required event. We ask that all attendees respect our mask policy to ensure safety for high-risk community members. We will have KN95 masks avaialble at the door.
Food/Drink: We ask that if you purchase food please step outside to eat. If you need to take a sip or a bite, while inside, we ask that you lower your mask quickly to bite/sip and raise it back up immediatly after. This will help us ensure that high-risk community members are not exposed for a long period of time. You may drink inside throughout the entire event, we just ask that you lower your mask to take a drink, and raise your mask immediatly after.
With covid on the surge, we highly encourage attendees to also test, though it is not required. If you are feeling sick we ask that you please stay home to protect the health and well-being of the community.
Lighting... There will be no flashing lights in the venue. We will have low-lighting in the main space once the sun goes down.
Note: Please reach out to the organizer if you have any accessibility needs for the event! We will do our absolute best to accommodate you, and if we are unable to accommodate you may request a refund.
Who we are supporting:
All funds raised from ticket sales will support our dear friend Mohammed and his family. Mohammed and his siblings were all in the process of achieving higher education when the terrors of colonization and imperialism turned their world upside down. As we know, there are no universities left in Gaza. So this fundraiser will support Mohammed and his family to survive life in Gaza, rebuild and hopefully resume their education. Our people need us, and this is our small effort in showing up for them.
