Learn fundamental freediving techniques from experienced, local instructor Bill Van Deman in our Open Water PFI Freediving Course. This course is designed to learn freediving skills up to 20 Meters or 66 Feet. In this course you will learn:
- Safety protocals for breath-hold diving
- Proper breathing techniques for snorkeling and diving
- Equalization skills, Body placement, and proper streamlining
- Confined and Open Water skill development (static and dynamic skills)
- Freediving Equipment
- Basic Physics and Physiology associated with Freediving
This course is perfect for those who are just getting into freediving and want to dive safe with a buddy at depths up to 66 feet, who want to hold their breath longer and want to dive deeper.
Course is comprised of a classroom session (Friday), Pool Session (Saturday), and Open Water Session (Sunday).
Students must be comfortable in the water and know how to swim. Students must be in good health and fill out appropriate paperwork for the course.
To keep the cost of the course down, we are including the classroom in the cost of the course at $575 per person. Optional eLearning available.
