PFAS-FREE FUTURE - Safe & Sustainable Alternatives for Packaging & Textile

The ZeroF project, a collaboration of 12 European partners funded by the EU and SERI, is holding its final event to present three years of research on safe and sustainable alternatives to PFAS compounds in food packaging and upholstery textiles. The event will showcase key innovations, share insights from safety, environmental, and life-cycle assessments, and discuss pathways for industrial adoption. It will bring together researchers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to explore regulatory developments, market opportunities, and collaborative strategies for accelerating the transition to PFAS-free materials. Attendees will gain a comprehensive overview of ZeroF’s achievements, practical solutions, and next steps for implementing PFAS-free technologies across Europe.
