“Peña Flamenca Burqueña” is a youth Flamenco performance showcasing the dances that our students have been working hard on all year. Experience the next generation of Flamenco artists as they take the stage with passion, talent, and energy. With support from the City of Albuquerque, this performance is free and open to the public. Get to know each of these young dancers and support the next generation of Flamenco artists as they develop their art! There will be merchandise and concessions for sale at the event to support our scholarship fund. If you would additionally like to support our educational programs so that we can continue bringing Flamenco classes and performances to our community, go to flamencoworks.org/donate We are additionally grateful to all families and friends that have generously given to our students’ 529 College Savings Accounts administered by the New Mexico Education Plan and set-up by Flamenco Works. Each recital, students who are a part of our “Flamenco Futures” program raise funds for their accounts as an award for their accomplishments.Admission is free. Reservation is required.
