The Capital Ukrainian Festival is thrilled to invite you to a hands-on painting workshop exploring the vibrant world of Petrykivka. As a special part of this year’s 2026 festival, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect with Ukrainian culture, learn a UNESCO-recognized art form, and create your very own masterpiece.

What to Expect:
You don't need to be an expert to join the fun! This workshop is 100% beginner-friendly and designed for individuals with little to no prior painting experience. All supplies are provided in the workshop.
During this interactive 2-hour session conducted in English you will:
- Explore the History: Learn about the cultural significance and origins of the distinctive Petrykivka decorative art style.
- Master the Techniques: Get step-by-step guidance on characteristic brushstrokes, vibrant motifs, and traditional patterns.
- Create a Souvenir: Bring your new skills to life! Every participant will paint and complete a small, beautiful piece of Petrykivka artwork to take home.
