Peter Sellers - A Centenary Celebration

The Pump House is delighted to welcme back Peter Lydon, the director of the BAFTA nominated BBC documentary The Peter Sellers Story will give us a deep dive into the comedy legend illustrated with clips from the films. The 3 part biog is currently on iPlayer.

When he died in 1980, age 54, Sellers left behind an extraordinary comic legacy, a turbulant private life and a huge trove of home movies he'd shot from the 40s right up to the year of his death.

Lydon was given exclusive access to this footage by BBC ARENA which became the foundation for a three part biography The Sellers Story. It's rich, intimate, often painful portrait of this complicated funny man.
