Expect to laugh, sing and dance in this one-off solo show especially for the Barrelhouse.
Pete is a comic, poet and loop station artist whose mission is to incite a spirit of carnival, wonderment and riotous love. Pete’s work has been featured on BBC Radio 4, Newsnight and the World Service. His lyrics touch on themes of madness, philosophy and civil unrest, with the help of loop machines and FX machinery. Pete is a former Hammer & Tongue UK Poetry Slam champion and has performed in over fifteen countries with organisations that include The British Council.

Bonny Tydeman’s soulful spoken word explores existential terrain with playfulness and reverence. Her work is informed by her extensive study of psycho-spiritual philosophy and experimentation with altered states of consciousness. She is currently working on a Spoken word show called Play of Light and her debut EP will be released this November.

MC Happy disarms spirituality with electronic hip-hop, catchy beats & funny lyrics. Though playful and fun his work offers genuine reflections into everyday enlightenment.
