Pete Oxley’s ‘Time is of the Essence’ Original & Brecker Bros et al inspired grooves (donations)

This band draws it’s name from the title of the stunning 1999 album by Michael Brecker. As per that album, Time Is Of The Essence is an ‘organ quartet’: sax, guitar, organ and drums (where the organ also takes care of all bass duties!). Formed in 2010, the band features original music by Pete, Ollie Weston (saxes) and Martin Pickett (organ), falling very much into the ‘groove’ category of jazz!
Aside from their own works, they also perform pieces by the likes of Michael Brecker (needless to say!), Steely Dan, Wes Montgomery and Eddie Harris.
