Amy's Purpose invites you to a benefit concert and reception to raise funds for scholarships to the College of the Desert PaCE course in veterinary assistants and put more veterinary workers in desert offices by 2023. Wine & light hors d'oeuvres reception hosted by Eight4Nine restaurateur Willie Rhine, honoring animal activist Lori Weiner, with a silent auction on the museum main floor at 6:45 p.m. Concert at 8 p.m. downstairs in the Annenberg Theater featuring former Kyuss lead singer John Garcia and the Band of Gold and Songwriters Hall of Fame Billy Steinberg with a short Q&A with Garcia and Bruce Fessier between sets.Tickets: $50, $100, $250. Donation to receive two front-row seats and pay for a full vet assistant course scholarship: $3,200.
