Join us for a fun and unique class where you’ll create your very own pet character—either a cat or dog—sculpted on a natural gourd using air-dry clay!In this hands-on class, your instructor will guide you through the process of shaping and adding personality to your pet character. Once your sculpture is complete, you’ll receive tips and suggestions on how to paint your character—whether you prefer a whimsical design or a traditional look, or even colors that mirror your own furry friends!
What’s Included:
• Natural gourd (approx. 4-6” in height and diameter)
• Air-dry clay
• Paint and paintbrushes
• Paint pens
• Plastic apron
• Nitrate gloves (small and medium sizes)
• Heat gun
What to Bring:
• Comfortable, art-friendly clothing (apron recommended)
• A photo of your pet for reference (to help with colors and style)
Important Note:
Due to the drying time of paint, some finishing touches may need to be completed at home after class. The instructor will provide suggestions and contact information for additional assistance if needed.
