God created the world with a rich diversity of life. When it comes to animals, some are of a scale and temperament that they can be dangerous to be near. But many of us share our homes with animals through whom we receive love and grace. These furry, scaled, or feathered friends are family and bring us joy. We invite you to join us for a pet blessing as a way to recognize the gift you have been given and seek God’s good favor for your pet. Pets should be leashed, crated, or otherwise controlled. If this is not practical we encourage you to bring a picture of your pet that we may pray over. It’s a great way for your household to
celebrate your pet and to meet others in the neighborhood.
