Pet Blessing at The Lutheran Church of the Ascension
Sunday, September 27, 10:00 a.m., Ascension Patio on Wright Square
We will gather on the church patio for a special blessing for our pets! This service honors St. Francis who is remembered for his love of creation, especially animals. Bring your furry and feathery friends for a brief service of blessing and an opportunity for individual blessings. We are excited to partner with Coastal Pet Rescue. Coastal Pet Rescue receives funding for its rescue efforts through fundraising events, individual donations, and business sponsorships. Adoption fees are nominal and go towards the cost of the spay/neuter for each adopted pet. All monies invested in the pet, such as boarding, feeding, grooming, and veterinary care, are never fully recovered. . Our offerings collected at this service will be donated to support their efforts. Cash or gift cards for local pet stores will be greatly appreciated!
