About this Event
Now that the garden season is hitting its peak, how do we manage all the pests? In this workshop we will dive into the world of organic pest control products. and discuss the following:
- resources for identifying your pest issues
- known pest issues and what their remedies may be
- when to spray vs when spraying is not enough
- how to spray crops with organic spray
- what options you have to spraying equipment and how to stay safe spraying
- what to spray with? We will go through materials that the GRC carries and other easy to find organic spray materials
- strategies for spraying
- putting it all together: we will build a crop management plan and a plan of action
This class will build off the spring class: Pest & Disease: How to Prepare for Pests. It is not required to take the Preparing class. However if you are interested in the preventing of pests, we encourage you to take that class too.
