The Peshtigo area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Peshtigo Woman’s Club, Peshtigo School District and the City of Peshtigo are happy to present an outdoor “Community Christmas Celebration” to be held on Saturday, November 27th h at the Peshtigo River Park Gazebo from Noon until 2 P.M.The Christmas Celebration will feature festive tree lighting and decorations throughout the River Park walkway. We will also welcome a visit by Santa from Noon until 2 P.M. who will have special treats for children, a photographer will be on-site as well to take photos of your child and Santa for no charge, although donations are gladly accepted.
Throughout the celebration we plan to offer hot chocolate, cookies, bottled water and popcorn, there will be holiday music, Christmas carolers presented by the Peshtigo School District Band and Choir
If you are looking for great Christmas presents for your family and friends, we will have on hand and be accepting additional orders for our popular Wild Goose River Kayak Group apparel as well as other Peshtigo Area Chamber of Commerce logo branded “must have’s”.
As community partners we have again joined with the Peshtigo School District by promoting “The Kid’s Closet “program for kids that need various items, immediate needs are for youth size T-Shirts and Sweatshirts, Snow Pants, Shoelaces, Snow boots, Socks, and Chapstick. You can help by bringing new item donations on the day of to the Community Christmas Celebration event, or prior to the 27th you can drop off to any of our participating partner area businesses, Windjammer, Luigis, Peshtigo Café’, Peshtigo Corral, Browns Corner, and Embers 1871
We need volunteers to help with decorating on Saturday November 20th and Sunday the 21st, as well as volunteers to help with staffing at the event. Come Join us!
