Persuasive Design - OTTAWA

Whether you are a designer, a CEO, strategist, product lead, or e-commerce start-up, this hands-on course will provide you with tactical how-to’s that you can start to implement immediately and see results overnight.

• How to identify and apply visual psychology principles to enhance usability
• How to apply the principles of persuasive and behavioural design in experiences
• How to apply techniques that enhance emotional engagement and contribute to effective storytelling
• The importance of typography, copy, visual hierarchy and narrative in developing a clear user journey

This course requires limited prior UX knowledge. Recommended for business analysts, graphic designers, interaction designers, UI/UX designers, product designers and anyone looking to expand or update their skills.

• 1-day courses run from 9:00am - 4:30pm (Eastern Standard Time)
• Course will have a 1-hour lunch break
• Choose from In-person or Live Online

In-person:
Participants receive a printed course booklet. A laptop is not required for this course.

Persuasive Design is a course within the User Experience Designer Certification if finished within two years of the initial course.

Cancellation

Things don't always work out! After you register, if something changes and you have to cancel:

• 30 business days prior to the start date, the fee is totally refundable minus a 5% administration fee.
• 20 business days prior to the start date is 50% refundable, plus a 5% administration fee.
• 10 business days before training start day, no refund. Acceptance of transfer of dates is at Akendi's discretion and may incur a nominal fee.
