Personalized Pet Bowls: A 2-Session Ceramics Class at The Charming Orange

Show your furry friends how much you love them by creating personalized, handmade pet bowls that are as unique as they are! In this fun, hands-on 2-session class at The Charming Orange, you’ll design and craft a special food or water bowl for your cat, dog, or any other creature that deserves a personalized touch. Whether you're making a gift for a beloved pet or just want to add a little extra charm to your pet's dining area, this course is the perfect way to blend creativity and functionality.

Course Overview:

In this two-week class, you’ll create a set of customized pet bowls that will be as functional as they are adorable. Using a variety of texturing techniques and personal touches, you’ll design bowls that fit your pet’s needs and personality. We will focus on making these "pet" bowls, but you can make them for that special person as well!

This class meets on Saturday, January 11, 2025 and Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The second class will likely take less than the full time alloted.

Course Details:

• All materials and firings are included in the course fee. Students can make multiples of projects as time permits. Your bowls will be fired and ready for pickup within two weeks of the final class, and we will notify you when they are available for collection.

• Please come prepared with a hand towel for your use and whatever beverage you want. Wear comfortable, older clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and non-slip shoes for safety.

• Basic pottery tools will be available in the studio for your use.

This class is designed for all skill levels, from beginners to those with some experience working with clay. It’s open to anyone ages 16 and up who loves pets and wants to make something special for them. Whether you’re new to pottery or a seasoned maker, this course offers a fun and easy way to create beautiful, customized pet bowls.
