Do you have a story you want to tell? In this 8-week personal narrative workshop, you’ll learn how to shape your lived experiences into a compelling story and build confidence in your writing practice. We’ll spend time delving into memory, understanding the role of research, and learning the narrative elements of craft. You’ll have a chance to get feedback on your writing and join a community of like-minded writers.
Whether you’ve never written before or you’ve already dipped your toe into creative nonfiction, this workshop is perfect for beginner and intermediate writers.

Instructor: Aeriel Merillat, writer + bookseller at Wild Aster Books; MFA from University of Pittsburgh; 2021 Lighthouse Workshop Fellow and 2023 Bread Loaf Contributor, with work in The Massachusetts Review, Reed Magazine, and Fractured Lit.
