Angie Stewart has employed Personal Assistants for the last 25 years. She will share her experiences and talk about every aspect of the job. You will learn why disabled people fought to be able to have a Direct Payment so they could employ their own Personal Assistants and the difference this makes to people's lives. Including the topics of equality, diversity, confidentiality and keeping people safe, you will have a jam packed morning.
It will be good fun and offer practical steps to begin applying for jobs straight away as a Personal Assistant.
