About this Event

If you have ever wondered what being a Personal Assistant is all about and how it differs from other care sector jobs, this course will explain everything.

Angie Stewart has employed Personal Assistants for the last 27 years. She will share her experiences and talk about every aspect of the job. You will learn why disabled people fought to have Direct Payments to employ their own Personal Assistants and the difference this makes to their lives.

Including the topics of equality, diversity, confidentiality and keeping people safe, you will have a jam packed day.

It will be fun, full of laughter and offer practical steps to begin applying for jobs straight away or add to your existing skills if you are already a Personal Assistant.
