The Person County Farmers Market and other partners will hold an event style pop-up farmers market on Saturday, September 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. outside at Palace Pointe. The idea for a new market was born out of a series of community listening sessions during which citizens expressed a strong interest in supporting local agriculture and small businesses. While the September 20 event is a one-time event for 2025, organizers are hopeful that it will develop into a monthly event, starting in the summer of 2026. Come out to Palace Pointe on September 20, 9 am-1pm and enjoy fresh locally grown produce, artisanal goods, family activities, live music, and community fellowship!
