Persimmon Festival

Please note there is a two tree maximum per household, and one tree per species limit, thank you. Registration is not required to attend the event, but is needed to reserve a tree. If there are trees left over at the end of the event they will be given away first come, first served at noon.

This community-focused event celebrates native persimmons with fun and educational activities for all ages. We’ll be giving away Missouri-native trees, hosting a storytime with the St. Louis Public Library, and programming tables from Missouri State Parks, EarthDance Organic Farm School, Missouri Department of Conservation, Missouri Forestkeepers Network, and more! Come learn, connect, and celebrate persimmons!

This activity is financed in part through an allocation of CDBG funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of St. Louis’ Community Development Administration.
