Learn how to make perogies from scratch in a hands-on, in-person workshop. You will mix dough, prepare traditional fillings, shape perogies, and cook them together. We finish by sharing a meal made during the session.This event sold out in a few hours when we first hosted it in January. It was so popular and so well received that we arranged to have it put on again.
This workshop focuses on practical kitchen skills rooted in prairie food traditions. You will prepare three classic styles, potato and cheese, sauerkraut, and a lightly sweet dessert perogy.
You go home with recipes and the confidence to make perogies for your own household. This workshop is beginner friendly and designed for people who enjoy learning by doing.
