About this Event

BUY YOUR TICKETS HERE:

a playful outdoor friendship social built around Pittsburgh culture, team activities, food, beer, and easy ways to meet new people. Think field day meets picnic hangout — but with pierogi energy.

We’ll be gathering during Parks on Tap, where guests can enjoy beer on tap, food truck bites, picnic blankets, games, speed friending, Polaroid moments, and a social atmosphere made for connecting.

Bring your own picnic blanket, come solo, bring friends, or show up ready to meet your next friend group. You do not have to participate in every activity to enjoy the event. You can join the games, cheer from your blanket, grab food, sip a beer, or just hang out in the park.

This event is for people who want something more fun than just “meeting at a bar.” Whether you’re new to Pittsburgh, trying to make friends, single, taken, open to meeting someone, or just looking for a fun summer plan, Perogie Picnic Games is built to make connection feel easy.

Parks on Tap is open to the public, but only ticket holders will have access to the official Yinzers Meet activities, speed friending, Polaroid photo moments, Piñata matching guest list, and hosted social experiences.

WHAT YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:

• Access to official Perogie Picnic Games activities

• Team games and lighthearted challenges

• Optional pierogi-style relays and picnic games

• Speed friending with Reuneo

• Polaroid photo moments

• Access to the Pinyada matching guest list after the event

• A structured way to meet new people

• Access to ticket-holder-only social activities

• A chance to join a team, make friends, and enjoy a Pittsburgh-style park hangout

FOOD + DRINKS:

Parks on Tap will have beer available for purchase, and a food truck will be on-site for guests who want to grab something to eat during the event.

Pierogi samples may be available for participating guests while supplies last.

HOW THE EVENT WORKS:

The event starts at 4:00 PM and runs until 7:00 PM.

We’ll begin with check-in, wristbands, and time for guests to settle in, grab drinks, lay out picnic blankets, and meet people.

Throughout the event, we’ll host optional team activities, games, and social challenges designed to help people interact naturally. You can participate as much or as little as you want.

If you want to play, we’ll help get you connected with a team. If you’d rather relax, you can bring a picnic blanket, hang out, watch the games, meet people nearby, and enjoy the Parks on Tap atmosphere.

This is not a high-pressure competition. It’s a friendship social with games built in to make meeting people easier.

OPTIONAL SPEED FRIENDING:

We’ll offer optional speed friending with Reuneo for guests who want a more structured way to meet people.

This is perfect if you’re coming solo, new to Pittsburgh, or want an easy icebreaker before jumping into the rest of the event. The goal is simple: quick conversations, new connections, and less awkwardness.

PINYADA MATCHING:

After the event, ticket holders will get access to our Piñata matching guest list so you can reconnect with people you met during Perogie Picnic Games.

Whether it’s a new friend, a potential date, a teammate, or someone you talked to on a picnic blanket and want to find again, Piñata helps make the connection easier after the event ends.
