About this Event
In advance of Dora Colquhoun’s performance of The Lodger at Chester Lane Library on 13th November, Artists Together presents an opportunity for artists to develop their own work.
You are invited to spend 2 hours dedicated to a creative idea at any stage and sit with it, hold it, interrogate it, ask it to dance, develop it, unpick it and dream with it.
There will be a series of writing, movement and visualisations exercises to help you unpack your idea. There is no pressure to have any outcome this is about giving yourself a permission slip to sit with your creative idea. You might then want to set fire to it, rip it up, or this might be the ignition you needed to develop it to the next stage.
Please bring writing materials and comfy clothing and a pineapple. (The pineapple is optional)
11 Haydock Street is kindly provided asa venue by Kindred LCR’s Street and a half project.
