Join Lovelace Labor of Love for a no-cost perinatal group therapy session. Many cultures teach that community is essential for thriving during the perinatal months. Please join our perinatal group therapy sessions facilitated by a Lovelace Medical Group licensed social worker. These sessions are for any pregnant persons (spouses and partners are welcome) up to one full year post-partum. Instructor Catherine Roth, LMSW, will cover topics of interest and may include Winnicott’s “The Good Enough Mother,” baby brain development, SAMSHA’s 8 Dimensions of Wellness, intimacy, environment, working, anxiety, depression and more. You'll also have an opportunity to participate in guided group discussions.Classes will be held at Lovelace Women's Hospital on the 3rd floor, OB/GYN Clinic.
