About this Event
Perimenopause is one of the most misunderstood transitions in a woman’s life—yet it can affect mood, sleep, metabolism, cognition, and long-term health for years before menopause actually occurs. In this free educational seminar, Horizen Medical founder Tim Hori shares the personal story that led him to create a clinic focused specifically on thoughtful, evidence-based perimenopause care, and explains what is actually happening in the body during this transition.
These seminars are designed for couples, though individuals are absolutely welcome to attend on their own. The goal is to create a shared understanding of perimenopause so both women and their partners can better understand the physical, hormonal, and neurological changes that occur during this stage of life—and how to navigate them together.
During the seminar, we’ll cover why symptoms such as brain fog, sleep disruption, anxiety, mood changes, and weight fluctuations occur, and what current research says about supporting both day-to-day wellbeing and long-term health through this transition.
Each seminar presentation lasts approximately 45 minutes, followed by a live Q&A with Horizen Medical’s clinical team. This is an opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity, and hear thoughtful, balanced perspectives on navigating perimenopause.
Our goal is simple: To replace confusion with understanding and give women—and the men who support them—the knowledge and tools to approach this transition with greater confidence.
