Perfume-Making Pop-up @ Patina at Home

Want to spend 30 minutes away from your phone and activate your senses?

Alison Peters, founder and owner of The Lavender Sachet, will show you how to create beautiful Rollerball Perfumes step-by-step. Because this is a pop-up (vs. a workshop) you can make as many perfume rollerballs as you’d like. With your ticket, you will also receive a $10 gift certificate to Patina at Home to use that evening. You will get to sample and pick your own scents for their rollerball perfumes from options such as lavender, sweet orange, lemon, lime, peppermint, ylang ylang, palo santo, gardenia, bergamot, sandalwood, honeysuckle, jasmine, yuzu, grapefruit, coconut, vanilla, eucalyptus, tea tree, patchouli, sea salt, chamomile and more. Alison will help guide everyone on the best scents to blend together.

Using dried flowers from a friend and local flower farmer, you can also choose to add flowers to your perfume.

Finally, you’ll choose your base oil: sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil and avocado oil.* You will also receive labels for each perfume and name your custom-made perfume rollerballs.

Pricing: Perfumes are $28 for one and $50 for two; you will pay for your perfumes at the time of the event.

Rollerballs are 10 mL each. You are welcome to BYOB. Sparkling water will be provided. Next door, you can also stop into the shop at A.R.T. for their gallery show that evening.

Perfume Pop-up will take place at Patina at Home (504 Wyoming Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45215) from 6 - 8pm on Thursday, June 20.

*Note: Please do not use these base oils (sweet almond, jojoba, grapeseed, avocado) if you are allergic to their ingredients. Alison can plan in advance for you to make a perfume spray using witch hazel and distilled water if you’d still like to participate. Please email [email protected] in advance of the workshop.
