About this Event
Uptown Melody is looking for creatives who are ready to take their craft to the next level. Welcome to Performing 101: Spring Edition. In our weekly Monday workshops, performers will get the opportunity to enhance their confidence and technique. Led by Ayanna Williams aka Ayanna The Singer, she will also be joined by Special Guest Speakers. They will share their journey while providing tips on Self-Care, Content Creation and Improving Confidence. Each class is $20. Attendees who participate in at least 4 workshops will be given the opportunity to perform at Uptown Melody’s 2 Year Anniversary (July 15th). Class Packages available.
Performing on stage is a full body, mind and emotion experience. It is important to create healthy routines, utilize warm ups and consistently practice to strengthen stage presentations. In each workshop we will use warm ups (body and voice), deep breathing techniques, and confidence building exercises to strengthen our performance skills.
