No performance experience is necessary, but some Solo Jazz knowledge is preferred (eg. comfortable with routines like the big apple, tranky doo etc). If you miss a session you should be comfortable learning from the videos provided. It is also required to practice outside of classes in order stay on track with the choreography and feel confident when we finally perform.
We don鈥檛 want to take ourselves or the performance too seriously but at the same time welcome people who are ready to work hard and grow together 馃檪
If you are keen to work on choreography but not perform, you are also welcome to join for the learning experience!
**Bonus** : Performance students are welcome to join Solo Jazz (open level) at 7.05pm Wednesdays free of charge for the duration of the course. I strongly recommend this for those with less experience as we cover a lot of the steps used in the performance - both technique as well as finding your own voice and style within those steps
Details:
Start date: Wednesday September 10th
Six rehearsals:
September 10th 8.10pm to 9.10pm
September 17th 8.10pm to 9.10pm
September 24th 8.10pm to 9.10pm
October 1st 8.10pm to 9.10pm
October 8th 8.10pm to 9.10pm
October 11th (final rehearsal timing and location TBC)
Optional: also join Wednesdays open level class 7.05pm to 8.05pm (free of charge)
Performance date: Saturday October 11th at STMF
Rehearsal Location: Chachachicas: Hasenheide 9, 10967 Berlin. (Right next to Hermannplatz)
Price: sliding scale of 65 - 80 euros for the whole course (pay what you can afford in this range)
