This 1.5 hour workshop is for new and existing line managers who want to build their knowledge and skillset in order to carry out effective performance review conversations.
By the end of the session attendees will be able to:
- Show an understanding of the UWL performance review process
- Explain the purpose and benefits of annual and mid-year reviews
- Describe the key skills that underpin effective feedback
- Prepare effectively for a performance review conversation
- Write a SMART objective
- Locate and utilise supporting guidance and learning content
