Aicinu uz savu performanci, kas notiks starptautiskā performances mākslas festivāla "Starptelpa" (kurš, starp citu, notiek jau astoto gadu!) ietvaros.
Baznīcas telpā veidotā performance jautās, kuram ir ļauts piederēt gan šajā pasaulē, gan ārpus tās robežām. Reliģiskie priekšstati gadsimtiem ir noteikuši, kas ir “pareizi” un kas ne, kas drīkst ienākt svētajā telpā un kam ir jāpaliek aiz durvīm. Darbu veidos ķermeņa kustības - sniegšanās, līdzsvara zaudēšana, kritieni un mēģinājumi turpināt arī tad, ja pamats nav stabils. Celšanās augšup kļūst gan par vēlmi, gan par cīņu. Starp vienatni un kopā būšanu performance aicina domāt, vai pieeja sakrālajam tiek piešķirta, nopelnīta vai varbūt radīta kopā.

I invite you to my performance, which will take place as part of the international performance art festival Starptelpa — which, by the way, is already taking place for the eighth year!
Set within a church space, this performance reflects on the idea of who is considered worthy of belonging - on earth and beyond it. Religious narratives have long defined “rightness,” drawing invisible lines between those who are accepted and those who remain outside. The work unfolds through gestures of reaching, imbalance, and persistence, where elevation becomes both a desire and a question. Between solitude and collectivity, the piece invites reflection on whether access to the sacred is granted, earned, or collectively held.
