Enjoy an afternoon of contemporary and historic performances as the Merce Cunningham Dance Company presents groundbreaking works created in collaboration with artist Robert Rauschenberg, including Summerspace, Interscape, Night Wandering, and Antic Meet. Faculty from the Merce Cunningham Trust, Texas Christian University, and Southern Methodist University will provide depth and context for these radical live and filmed performances through introductions and interactive dialogue. Screenings: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Live Performance: 4 – 4:30 p.m.
Q&A with Cunningham Trust: 4:30 – 5 p.m.
Registration is FREE for Nasher Members and students; $10 for non-members (includes museum admission). In-person and open to the public. Advance registration requested (limited spaces available).
