Perdre le Nord
Muusikaline performance
Performance “Perdre le Nord”, mis põhineb prantsuskeelsetel idioomidel, on loodud kahe kunstniku vastastikuse improvisatsioonina. Etenduse inspiratsiooni ja struktuurina kasutatud väljendid ei ole omavahel seotud ning omandavad tähenduse ainult läbi esitajate sisemise töö. Võõrastele kõlavad need aga kui omamoodi „petlikud vihjed“ ning sõnade otsene tähendus varjab teistsugust, tõelist mõtet.
„Võõrast“ kehastab kunstnik Maksim Isaev, kes loob performance’i verbaalse rea visuaalse tõlgenduse. Igale idioomile vastab Aleksei Aigi muusikakompositsioon, millest saab sõnalise mõistatuse emotsionaalne lahtimõtestamine. Nii muutub muusiku ja kunstniku dialoog katseks näha tõelist sisu väliste vormide taga.
Muusikalist performace’i esitletakse esmakordselt Balti riikides ja Soomes 2025. aasta novembri lõpus – detsembri alguses.
Esimene ”Perdre le Nord” performansi versioon esitati selle aasta juulis Avignonis (Prantsusmaa), klubis Delirium. Mõlemad osalejad elavad alaliselt Prantsusmaal.
Aleksei Aigi – muusik ja helilooja, rohkem kui saja filmi ja telesarja muusika autor, ansambli 4’33” looja (nimi viitab John Cage’i ideedele). On alati töötanud sõltumatu muusikuna väljaspool riiklikke institutsioone. Alates 1990. aastate lõpust elab ja töötab Prantsusmaal; alates 2022. aastast ei mainita Aigi muusika autorlust tema tööde esitamisel Venemaal. Prantsusmaal kirjutab ta muusikat filmidele ja on Cannes’i filmifestivali püsiosaleja.
Maksim Isaev – kunstnik ja performatiivne esineja, üks 1980. aastatel Peterburis tegutsenud kunstnike skvoti Puškinskaja 10 liikmetest. 1989. aastal lõi ta koos avangardteatri kolleegidega projekti AXE, mis tegeles kino, maali ja performansidega. 1990. aastatel arendas ta koos Pavel Semtšenkoga AXE sõltumatuks “inseneriteatriks”, mis osales arvukatel Euroopa välisturneedel ja rahvusvahelistel projektidel. Inseneriteatri tegijad tegid kaasa Slava Polunini projektides ja töötasid palju Saksamaal. Alates 2022. aastast elavad kõik AXE liikmed eri Euroopa riikides; teater teeb ametlikku koostööd Prantsuse produktsioonifirmaga IVA, luues lavastusi Prantsusmaal ja Saksamaal.
Maksim Isaev ja Aleksei Aigi kohtusid esmakordselt Prantsusmaal 2025. aasta suvel, et luua performans/performance ”Perdre le Nord”.

Perdre Le Nord
The performance is conceived as a mutual improvisation between two artists, based on a structure of several French idioms. These expressions are unrelated and meaningful only to the performers' inner workings. To the uninitiated, they sound like a kind of "trick": the literal meaning of the words is deceptive, concealing a different, truer meaning.
Artist Maxim Isaev plays the role of the "uninitiated" in the performance, assembling a visual interpretation of the verbal sequence. Each idiom corresponds to a musical composition by Alexei Aigui—an emotional decoding of the verbal riddle. Thus, the dialogue between musician and artist becomes an attempt to discern the true essence behind external contours.
The musical performance will be presented for the first time in the Baltic countries and Finland in late November - early December 2025.
The first version of Perdre Le Nord was performed in July of this year at the Delirium club in Avignon, France. Both members live in France.
Alexei Aigui is a musician and composer who has written music for over 100 films and television series, and is the founder of the ensemble "4'33", whose name alludes to the ideas of John Cage. He has always worked as an independent musician, outside of state institutions. Since the late 1990s, he has lived and worked in France; since 2022, his name has no longer been credited for music performances in Russia. In France, he writes film scores and is a regular participant at the Cannes Film Festival.
Maxim Isaev is an artist and performer, one of the participants in the art squat at 10 Pushkinskaya Street in St. Petersburg in the 1980s. In 1989, together with colleagues from the avant-garde theater, he founded the AKHE project, which focused on film, painting, and performance. In the 1990s, together with Pavel Semchenko, Isaev developed AKHE into an independent "engineering theater" with Numerous European tours and international projects have been undertaken. The artists participated in Slava Polunin's productions and worked extensively in Germany. Since 2022, all AKHE members have been living in various European countries; the theater has officially partnered with the French production company IVA, creating performances in residence and at festivals in France and Germany.
Maxim Isaev and Alexei Aigui first met in France in the summer of 2025 to create the performance "Perdre Le Nord."

Перформанс задуман как взаимная импровизация двух артистов, основанная на структуре из нескольких французских идиом. Эти выражения не связаны между собой и имеют смысл лишь для внутренней работы исполнителей. Для непосвящённого же они звучат как своеобразная «обманка»: буквальное значение слов обманчиво и скрывает иной, подлинный смысл.
В роли «непосвящённого» в перформансе выступает художник Максим Исаев, который собирает визуальную интерпретацию вербального ряда. Каждой идиоме соответствует музыкальная композиция Алексея Айги — эмоциональная расшифровка словесной загадки. Таким образом, диалог музыканта и художника превращается в попытку разглядеть подлинное за внешними очертаниями.
Максим Исаев и Алексей Айги впервые встретились во Франции летом 2025 года для создания перформанса Perdre Le Nord.
Первая версия Perdre Le Nord была показана в июле этого года в клубе Delirium в Авиньоне (Франция). Оба участника постоянно живут во Франции.
