TWRA's Statewide Free Family Fishing Day June 6th, 2026Youth Free Fishing Event with USACE & TWRA

Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Registration starts at 7:30am, first 100 participants under 15 years or age get a chance to win donated prizes from local businesses such as Bass Pro Shop, etc. After the event is over for the kids, the pond will be available to all public.
No registration is required.
Age Limit: 1 - 15 years old
Host Organization: US Army Corps of Engineers

On Bobby Wilson Free Fishing Day June 6th, 2026 all state residents and visitors of any age may fish for free without a license in Tennessee's public waters. Additionally, youth ages 15 or younger may fish for free the entire week, beginning on Free Fishing Day (June 6) and continuing through the following Friday, June 12.
