Prof. Maxim Fomin specialises in Celtic Studies, Digital Humanities and Irish Folklore. He published extensively on various aspects of Celtic Studies, including medieval Irish wisdom-texts and epic sagas, comparing them with Sanskrit and Pali sources. He will talk about early poems and medieval romances that provide a unique glimpse of India and its fascinating world in the eyes of the Irish.
