Peppone: Pop Icons Unleashed

End to End Gallery is thrilled to announce our Latest Exhibit, Peppone: Pop Icons Unleashed in partnership with Bel-Air Fine Art. This captivating showcase of Peppone’s work will be on display starting June 12th through July 6, 2024 with the Opening Reception on Saturday June 15th.

Peppone: Pop Icons Unleashed puts a spotlight on the imaginative and nostalgic artistry of Peppone, renowned for bringing to life moments from childhood and beloved films through his vibrant, Pop-inspired creations. This exhibition features eight unique prints and two dynamic sculptures that blend iconic cartoon characters with legendary cultural figures, showcasing Peppone’s playful and thought-provoking style.

Peppone's art is infused with imagery from his vast collection of nearly 500 comic books, including favorites like Tintin, Star Wars, Marvel, and Walt Disney. As a passionate lifelong collector, Peppone draws from his thousands of diverse objects, ephemera, and comics to create brightly colored and variegated resin forms that evoke the innocence of childhood and the richness of popular culture.

About Peppone: Born 1970 into a family of educators, Peppone, the pseudonym of French-Canadian artist Christophe Tixier, was instilled with the belief that sharing is one of life's greatest riches. His journey as an artist began with comic books gifted by his father, which he continued to expand through flea markets, auctions, and the generosity of friends and strangers. By carving into his abundant paper collection, Peppone breathes life into his works, establishing a heartfelt connection with his past and perpetuating his father's legacy.

Opening Reception: Join us for the opening reception on Saturday June 15th for the Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk from 6pm-10pm at End to End Gallery located at 2000 Harrison St., Hollywood, FL 33020.
