Saving seeds is the foundation of food sovereignty. We invite you to join us to learn basic seed saving skills that you use in your garden or as part of a larger movement. In this class we will learn basic seed saving principles, hands-on pepper seed saving skills and ways to get involved in building Omaha's food sovereignty movement.Blazing Star Seed Cooperative is a collection of urban ag organizations, urban and peri urban farmers and backyard growers working together to create a seed bank of locally adapted seed in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa that is free and accessible to everyone in our community.
