Get Acquainted with Peoria Players Theatre on Sunday, July 19! Join us for our annual event which introduces the public to the upcoming season, both on the stage and behind the scenes. Meet our directors, catch a sneak preview of the shows, find out more about auditions and how you can help backstage, and sign up for your chance to win some excellent door prizes. The front doors will open at 1:30 pm, and the program begins at 2:00, with a meet-and-greet reception to follow. Admission is free. Check out our 2026-2027 lineup below:
THE ADDAMS FAMILY
Summer Youth Theatre
Directed by Kena and Jace McCance
The Addams Family returns to Peoria Players, this time as our Summer Youth Theatre production. A comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, The Addams Family is the magnificently macabre hit musical featuring everyone’s favorite creepy, kooky characters.

COME FROM AWAY
Directed by Steve Bortolotti

HELLO, DOLLY
Directed by John Donlan
This musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s hit play The Matchmaker bursts with humor, romance, energetic dance and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre history. The romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher Levi, turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things,” are certain to entertain audiences again and again.

DEAR EVAN HANSEN

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR
Directed by Chip Joyce
This rock opera retells the biblical events that led to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ from the perspective of his betrayer, Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story, told entirely through song, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers and the Roman Empire.
